Neil Frederick Watts, born March 29, 1947, died in July 2012. Son of Earl Watts and Vernal (Marlowe) Watts, he graduated from Wilton High School (Class of 1965), Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Northrop Institute. Watts was an instructor at Northrop while living in California. He had lived in the Boston area for a number of years. He had a lifelong interest in aircraft and flying, boating, radio, engineering, and Scouting (he was a member and assistant scout leader of Wilton’s BSA Troop 10, and a member of the Order of the Arrow).
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda Watts-Hettinger and Christian Hettinger.
Donations in his memory may be sent to the Boy Scouts of America, or to Boy Scout Troop 10 of Wilton. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry assisted the family with arrangements.
