Sophie (Lemanski) Januszkiewicz, age 96, of Lynn died suddenly August 24 in a local nursing home. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Lemanski and the wife of the late Stanislaw Januszkiewicz. In her younger years, she was employed at the General Electric Co and various Shoe Factories. She was a former member of St. Michael's Parish before it's closing.
She is survived by one son Thomas Janus and his wife Donna Lee of Burlington, ywo daughters Carolyn and her husband Frederick Kapacziewski of Lynn and Joyce A. Kohn of Peabody. Beloved grandmother of Lisa, Laurie, and Matthew Janus, and Adam & Daniel Kohn, two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was sister of the late John and Joseph Lemanski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services in Calvary Baptist Church 4 Coolidge Rd., Peabody on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
