FRAMINGHAM: Suzanne Ellen Antos, age 65, a retired art teacher who devoted much of her career working with special needs children, died on Monday, August 20, 2012, at her Framingham home.
Born in Eugene, Oregon, she was a daughter of Marjorie (Titus) Lubanko of Olympia Fields, IL, and the late David S. Lubanko. She was raised and educated in Great Neck, NY, and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She continued her education at the University of Maryland, earning both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Art Education.
Suzanne married and made her home in Gaithersburg, MD. She taught art therapy to special education students throughout most of her career, work she loved and found very rewarding. Suzanne moved to Framingham 13 years ago.
A very vibrant and outgoing lady, Suzanne was a very sharp dresser and loved to go out to eat or spend a day shopping with friends or family.
She is survived by her mother; a son, Roger Antos of Framingham; a daughter, Amanda Denson and husband Jeff of Los Alamos, NM; three granddaughters, Ashley Antos of Las Vegas, NE, Cloe Antos of Gaithersburg, MD, and Alexandra Yarrington of Los Alamos, NM; and a sister, Diana Long and husband Douglas of Olympia Fields, IL
