Carole M. Lynch, 76 years of age ,currently of Oakdale CT passed away unexpectedly at her home during the late afternoon hours of Sunday August 26, 2012.
She was born on September 26, 1935 to Donald and Patricia Bennett in Grand Rapids Michigan. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Lynch and loving companion of 34 years to her soul mate, Richard Benton also of Oakdale. We will always remember Mom for her love of gardening, entertaining, spoiling her dogs and just passing time with Richard by their pool.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sister Patrice Sheehan, her daughter Laura Swenson, son Robert J. Lynch Jr and son-in-law David Swenson. She is also survived and will be greatly missed by her loving grand-children, Amy Lamoureux, Kendall Lynch, Jeffrey Swenson and her great-grand daughter Maci Swenson.
Carole was very active within her local gardening club and loved playing cards and making lunch for all her “ Lady Friends”. She could always be found working in her yard and around her beautiful gardens or just spending with her dogs.
Carole’s family will greet family and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street Historic downtown Mystic, where a memorial service will be conducted on Thursday August 30, 2012 at 6:00 PM.
