Worcester, MA - Cynthia J. (Pero) Rickards, 89, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012. She leaves her husband, Warren R. Rickards, to whom she was married for 68 years. She also leaves one son, Warren R. "Randy" Rickards, and his wife Janet of Worcester; two grandchildren, Scott Rickards of Worcester and Bethany Dolimount and her husband Peter of Leicester; and three great-grandchildren, Michaela, Jacob, and Kathryn. She was predeceased by one sister, Isabel Burns. Cynthia was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur and Ida (Graves) Pero. She was a graduate of North High and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Prior to retirement, Cynthia was a secretary/bookkeeper for Science Management.
Services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. A calling hour will be held at 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
