Jordan, Margaret T. “Peggy” (Smith) of Quincy, died August 26, 2012. Wife of the late Leonard E. Jordan. Loving mother of Rev. Regis Jordan, OCD of Washington DC and Kenneth Jordan and his wife Mary of Quincy. Sister of the late Esther Blaney. Grandmother of Catherine McLaughlin of Sharon and Diane Boyle of FL. Great grandmother of Aidan and Eoin McLaughlin. Aunt of Alycia Jordan whom she raised through her childhood years.
The Jordan family would like to extend their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff at Kindred Transitional Care (Quincy Rehabilitation) for the wonderful care giving to Peg. Peggy enjoyed listening to music, reading, bingo, knitting and crocheting. She cherished the simple things in life, especially her family. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 5-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel, North Quincy at 10 AM.
Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
