Doris E. Allan of Putnam Pike died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Leslie G. Allan.
Born in Glocester, RI a daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (Colwell) Smith. She lived in Smithfield for many years.
She is survived by her children, Michael L. Allan of Pascoag, Thomas J. Allan of Smithfield, John C. Allan of Topsham, VT, Priscilla A. Allan of Chepachet and Diane M. Pelletier of Smithfield, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late George A. Allan.
Committal service and burial will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
