Margaret Ann Kersey, 52, of Enigma died Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Jeremy Gordy, Steven Laska, Bud Laska, Scott Gaines, Seni Lealaiauloto and Jay Herebia will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Diversified Enterprises. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Miss Kersey was born on February 17, 1960 in Arcadia, Florida and was the daughter of Sarah Margaret Youmans Kersey of Enigma and the late Ed Lee Kersey.
In addition to her mother, Miss Kersey is survived by four brothers, Jimmy Kersey of Moultrie, Edward William Kersey of Tifton, David Kersey of Tifton and Paul Kersey of Brookfield; one sister, Deborah Ann Fountain of Valdosta; and Miss Kersey’s care-giver, Dawn Guy.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to any organization that serves the developmentally disabled.
