Brockton – Walter Roderick age 58, passed away at Brockton Signature Healthcare Hospital on Saturday August 25, 2012. He was born in New Bedford and was the beloved son of the late Mabel (Frates) and Walter Roderick. Walter worked at New Bedford Gear as a Machine Operator.
Mr Roderick is survived by his brother Bruce and his wife Anne of New Bedford, uncle George Walker of Mansfield, aunt Lucy Zabowski of New Bedford, niece Samantha Amaral and nephew Jordan Roderick both of New Bedford, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.
In accordance with his wishes Walter was cremated. He will have visiting hours at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Monday from 6-8 P.M with cremains present. In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Community Connection Inc. Att: Maria Pavao 125 Hartwell St. Fall River, Ma 02721. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
