Daniel J. Lowney, 46, of Waterford, CT died August 25, 2012 at his sister's home surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the son of the late John P. and Irene (Boudreau) Lowney, he lived in Waterford, CT most of his life.
He was employed by the Town of Waterford School Department.
Daniel enjoyed sailing, playing guitar, motorcycling, watching the Patriots and listening to his Rolling Stones.
Survivors include his son, Anver Lowney, a daughter, Savannah Lowney, a stepdaughter, Meaghan Lowney; 3 brothers, John Lowney, Jr., Timothy Lowney and his twin, James Lowney; 5 sisters, Noreen Parker, Eileen Lowney, Pauline Lowney, Jane Fowle and Annie Lemenager; 17 nieces and nephews and 17 grandnieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, August 29th at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Fairhaven at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, August 28th from 4-8 PM.
