In East Taunton, August 25, 2012 Richard A. Albertini Sr. husband of Beatrice (Traverso) Albertini died suddenly at his home at the age of 78. Born in Mansfield, Richard was the son of the late Joseph and Domenica (Gaziborski) Albertini. Richard was a graduate of Mansfield High School class of 1952 and then joined the US Navy serving during the Korean War. He was a retired Pipefitter for Nabisco Confections Inc. in Mansfield. Richard was the father of Richard A. Albertini Jr and his wife Janis of No Attleboro, Michael Albertini and his wife Cheryl of Middleboro, Teresa Strickland of Watertown, CT and Nancy Albertini of East Taunton. Grandfather of Crystal, Mathew, Kara, Erik, James, Britni and Evan. Brother of Edward, William, Joseph and John Albertini, Doreen Delfino, Lorraine Colombo, Wilma Antosca all formerly of Mansfield and the late James and Robert Albertini. A service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton, Wednesday, August 29th at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
