WEBSTER – Lottie R. (Wladyslawski) Zisk, 98, of Webster, passed unexpectedly but peacefully Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Saint Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Walter “Roger” Zisk, died in 1993.
She leaves her beloved and devoted daughter Christina and her precious dog Shadow. She was a special grammy to April Baldwin, Roy Desrosiers especially to Claire Desrosiers and their families. She leaves nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son Charles, 2 brothers Selectman Joseph “Butch” Wladyslawski and Raymond Wladyslawski, a sister Regina “Reggie” Mikolajczak and a stepbrother Chester Sokolowski.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Antoni and Rozalia (Nalewajk) Wladyslawski and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Zisk was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and its Holy Rosary Sodality, Sacred Heart Society and Saint Anne Society. She joined the Webster PNA Lodge #1063 in 1953 and was elected financial secretary in 1957, serving in that position until 2004. She served as Lady Vice-president of the PNA Council 111 in Worcester and held that office until 2006. She was elected Commissioner of District One of the PNA, the largest fraternal organization of the United States of North America and was chosen as a delegate for several state and national conventions. In 1993, Lottie was the recipient of the PNA Woman of the Year Award. She loved to dance, cook, crochet, play the organ and especially have fun with her family and friends.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, August 29, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, from 8:15 to 9:30 in the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
