Judith Atkinson, 44, of Albany, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at her residence.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 Sunday evening, August 26, 2012 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald. Memorial services will be announced later.
Ms. Atkinson was born January 14, 1968, in Gainesville, Florida, to Ernest Franklin Atkinson and the late Carolyn Diane Moore Martin. She had lived in Albany for the past three years, moving from Fitzgerald, and worked as a waitress. Ms. Atkinson was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Atkinson is survived by her son: Joseph Patucci of Waycross; daughters: Elizabeth “Libby” Harper of Fitzgerald, Heaven Nicole Harper of Thomasville, and Ericka Esperanza Soto of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Nicholae Sheffield, Le’Stat Moses Sheffield, Allison Harper, Hayleigh Harper, and Jacobi Phillips; her father: Frank Atkinson of Biloxi, Mississippi; her step-father: James David Martin, of Fitzgerald; a brother: Ernest Atkinson of Biloxi, Mississippi; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins including an aunt: Sharon Teal of Fitzgerald.
