Linda A. (Robbins) Tesauro, 62, of Whitman, passed away on Friday August 24th at home after a brief illness. She was the wife of Joseph P. Tesauro, Jr.
She was born in ST. Petersburg, FL., daughter of the late Manley T. and Phyllis (Torrey) Robbins.
Linda has been a lifelong resident of Whitman, a graduate of Whitman High School and she was also a graduate of Bridgewater State College.
She was an active member of the Unitarian Church in Rockland, where she was on the recreation committee and in the church choir.
Linda worked as a correspondence secretary for the Signature Medical Group for 38 years.
She was well known for making the best brownies ever, an avid camper and Linda also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Linda donated most of her knitting and crocheting to the South Shore Hospital.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Jean Finn of Ohio, her aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.
Her services will be held on Monday August 27th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, MA. Burial will be at a later date. Her visitation will be on Sunday August 26th from 3:00-7:00PM. Donations in her name may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, One Credit union Way, Randolph, MA. 02368
