ROBIN A. EKSTROM-WEBB , age 42, of Norwell, died on Wednesday, May 19th at the New England Medical Center in Boston after a long illness. Born in Newton, she lived most of her life in Norwell, graduating from Norwell High School in 1978.She then lived on Nantucket for 3 years before returning to Norwell 5 years ago.Robin was a restaurant manager for many years with the Back Bay Restaurant Group in Boston as well as a number of other restaurants in the Boston area. She loved animals and wildlife of all kinds and was a dedicated ecologist. She was also an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot fan.She leaves her husband, Michael A. Webb, and her daughter, Abigail Frances Webb of Norwell. She was the daughter of Aubrey M. (Beck) Ekstrom of Norwell and the lateWarren E. Ekstrom. Also survived by her sisterHeidijo Kushi of Pittsfield, MA. as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 24th at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham.Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 2-5 PM.Donations may be made in her memory to the Scituate Animal Shelter, Driftway, Scituate, MA 02040.The interment will be in the Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
