Chad Michael Kierstead, of Plymouth, died suddenly on August 21st at the age of 19 at Mass General in Boston. The beloved son of Randy and Maureen (Gavoni) of Plymouth, he is survived by his brothers Nathan and Josh both of Plymouth and his grandparents George and Mary Gavoni of Manomet and Howard and Judy Kierstead of Plymouth.
Chad was born and raised in Plymouth. He was a graduate of Plymouth North High School, Class of 2011, where he was the captain of the hockey team. After graduating, Chad joined the U.S. Coast Guard. He enjoyed hockey, fishing and mostly hanging out with his friends and family.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 24th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 25th at St. Peter’s Church at 10 AM. Burial will be held at a later date.
