Charles Keith, Jr., 91, of Westport died Monday, August 20, 2012 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Katherine R. (Tatro) Keith.
Born in Claremont, NH, he was the son of the late Charles D. and Martha (Archibald) Keith. Mr. Keith was a manager for various horse farms both in Westport and Kentucky. He was the former Deputy Chief and life member of the Westport Volunteer Fire Company and past President of the Bristol County Firefighters and Forest Wardens Association. Mr. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include: 1 son: Charles D. “Dusty” Keith, IV of KY; 2 daughters: Charlene R. Wood of Westport and Nancy C. Manley of Dartmouth; 1 brother: Richard E. Keith of OR; 1 sister: Elizabeth Hale of MA; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Keith was the brother of the late Howard L. Keith.
Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
