Helen V. Keith, Of Stoneham formerly of Medford, died on Friday August 17, at age 92 at Bear Hill Nursing Center where she had resided the past several years. Our thanks for the nursing care she received there. Helen is survived by her brother Paul of Framingham and many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Helen was born in Fall River, MA in 1920 daughter of the Kathleen (Hurley) and William H. Keith. She was the sister of the late Anne Westcott, William and James Keith. Helen was a graduate of Lowell Normal School and received her master’s degree in education from BU. She taught in the Medford School system at the Christopher Columbus School and was Assistant Principal for many years until her retirement in 1982. Helen was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed traveling with her sister and friends. She was a voracious reader and kept up with local, state and national politics. She will be missed by all who survive her. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 3 - 7.Services will conclude with burial at Winthrop Cemetery, Winthrop.
