In New Bedford, August 10, 2012 Dennis M. Hovestadt, age 44 passed away at home unexpectedly. Dennis was born in Boston, the son of Frederick & Helene (Shea) Hovestadt. He has lived in New Bedford the past five years and was formerly of Brockton. Dennis worked in the construction business until his health declined. He enjoyed building model ships, sports and boxing. Dennis leaves his mother Helene Hoverstadt of Taunton and father Frederick Hovestadt Jr.of Berkley. His siblings Daniel and Frederick Hovestadt both of Taunton and the late Cindy Strout anf Sylvia Hovestadt. Dennis also leaves his aunt and uncle Gene & Pauline Clinton of Halifax and many close friends. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
