Ruth Ester (Tavares) Ferreira of Fall River passed away August 18, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Diamontina (Perry) Tavares. Ruth was a retired presser having last worked at A & A Mfg. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church.
Ruth was the mother of Elizabeth Ann Schneider of Fall River and Donna Marie Dean of Berkley; sister of Marjorie Stephenson of Fairhaven and the late Albert Charles Tavares and Arnold Chester Tavares; grandmother of 4, great grandmother of 10 and an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River TUESDAY at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. at 10 A.M. Calling hours MONDAY 4-8 P.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. www.rogersfuneral.com
