Shelton Williams, age 72, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at home following an extended illness. Mr. Williams was born on September 18, 1939, in Douglas, GA to the late Jeff Williams and Maybell Anderson Williams.
Survivors include: his wife, Jackie Williams, of Douglas, GA; three daughters, Gina Ayers, of Jacksonville, FL, Renee Williams, of Santa Rose, CA, and Candice Smith, of Broxton, GA; two brothers, Dan Williams, of Atlanta, GA and Thomas Williams, of Valdosta, GA; one sister, Virginia Davis, of Nicholls, GA; three grandchildren, Chip Smith, Makenzie Smith, and Brook Arnold; one great grandchild, Jaelynn Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilsonville Church of God of Prophesy with Rev. Fred Morgan and Rev. Charles Brown officiating. Interment followed at Forest Grove Church Cemetery.
