Obituary

Millbury—Harry E. Tice, 71, formerly of Millbury, died Monday, May 17, 2004, at UMass Memorial Medical Center—Memorial Campus. His wife, Joan E. (Hicks) Tice, died in 1969. He leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Jay Czaja, of West Brookfield; a grandson, Matthew; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Robert Johnson of Sutton; and a brother and sister-in-law, Drs. David and Melanie Tice of NY.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of Harry G. and Gudny (Davidson) Tice. He was a disabled Marine Corps Veteran, having served in the Korean War. He attended Columbia University in NY. Mr. Tice was a Large Truck Salesman. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the Nave of Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester. Please omit flowers. Donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor’s Discretionary Fund, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester, MA 01609 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
