Jennifer Lynne Fischer, 48, of Derry, passed away Wednesday August 15, 2012 at Lahey Clinic of Burlington, MA, after a lengthy illness. She was born February 15, 1964 in Fort Dix, NJ and was a daughter of Albert and Marjorie (Hull) Shinault.
Mrs. Fischer was a homemaker, a foster mother of 10 and adoptive mother of 4. She was a former employee of Parkland Medical Center, and enjoyed volunteering at the Derry Boys and Girls Club.
Mrs. Fischer was predeceased by her father Albert Shinault.
Members of the family include her mother and dad, Marjorie Shinault-Helms and Ralph Helms of Derry, her husband of 26 years, Scott D. Fischer of Derry, five sons, Bruce Fischer, Joshua Leipold, Loki Anderson, Merlin Anderson-Fischer and Doc Fischer, one daughter, Felicia Fischer, four brothers, Alan, Steven, Kevin, and Jonathan Shinault, a sister Laurie Waite, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were Saturday August 18th from 10am to 12pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A funeral service followed at 12:00pm in the funeral home. The burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
