Doris Ann Henderson, 73, of Clarksville, TN, died on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center. She was born on December 26, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Rusty Minor and Leona Heilig Minor.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, KY with Rev. Reed Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and Monday, August 20, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Doris was an employee at Kids Stuff and More Daycare for twenty years. She was a department manager for K-Mart for eighteen years. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
She is survived by her husband, James T. Henderson of Clarksville, TN; three sons, Robert Henderson of Clarksville, TN, Michael Henderson of Tampa, FL, and Randy Henderson of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Patricia Pipes of Wartrace, TN; sister, Joyce Riley of Miami, FL; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church. Former deacons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
