Obituary

LAWRENCE – Joseph E. Rosinski, 79 of Lawrence passed away Tuesday August 14, 2012 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, MA.

Born and educated in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Joseph Rosinski and Anna (Endyke) Rosinski Carney and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School with the Class of 1950. During the Korean Conflict Joseph served in the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged. For many years he was a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, retiring in 1989.

Joseph was an avid Red Sox and sports fan, enjoyed 1950’s music, classic movies, vacationing at the beach and spending time with family and friends especially with his grandchildren.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Doris R. (Wilson) Rosinski of Lawrence, MA. Joseph is also survived by his children; Christine Rosinski, Karen Livingston and Steven and his spouse Brent Rosinski.
Four grandchildren; Kayla, Chad and Ryan Livingston, Marlena Rosinski.
Joseph was also predeceased by his step father Eugene Carney, and was the father of the late David J. Rosinski.

ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1905 Visiting hours for family and friends will be Friday from 3:00p.m. – 7:00pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass with be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00a.m. in St. Monica’s Church in Methuen.
