Obituary

Cheryl Rossel (Bright) Tinker, 55, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012. She was born on November 18, 1956 to Noel Gene and Loretta S. (Ter Horst) Bright in Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington. She and her husband Steve were married on June 12, 1982 in Camas, Washington. Cheryl and Steve have two sons, Brandon and Austin. In 1983, Cheryl and Steve moved to Prosser where they raised their two sons.
Cheryl was a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother who adored her grandsons; Kyle, Jackson and especially her two new ones, Austin’s son, Jason (2 ½) and Brandon’s son, Cameron (1 yr. old). Cheryl really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a big heart and was always fun to be around because she was interesting to talk to and had a fun personality. She worked for over 10 years for the Benton County District Court system.
She loved to go camping, riding quads on the Oregon coast, going on weekend drives, visiting friends and going to Becky’s Coffee Corner.
Survivors include husband, Steven Lloyd Tinker; son, Brandon Paul & wife Mandie of Benton City; son, Austin Lee of Prosser; grandsons, Kyle, Jason, and Cameron Tinker of Prosser and Jackson Willoughby of Benton City; brothers, Nathan and Carey Bright of Vancouver, WA; brother-in-law, Dennis Tinker and wife Teresa of Prosser; sister-in-law, Tami Howell & spouse Derek; father-in-law, Lloyd W. Tinker; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel & Loretta Bright of Vancouver and mother-in-law, Norma Tinker of Prosser.
A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Lodge in Prosser on Sunday August 19th at 1:00 p.m. A second potluck will be held on Friday, August 24th at Fallon Leaf Park in Camas, WA from 10:00 am to Dusk. According to Cheryl’s wishes, her burial will be in the Camas Cemetery in Camas,Washington, next to her parents.
