WEBSTER – Janet B. (Love) Nelson, 98, of 18 Klebart Avenue, died Saturday, May 15, in Lanessa Extended Care. Her husband, Edward L. Nelson, Sr., died in 1976.
She leaves a son, Edward L. Nelson, Jr., of Columbia, MD, and two grandchildren, Mark E. Nelson and Kristen A. Nelson, both of Maryland.
She was born in Dudley, daughter of William J. and Minnie (Jache) Love. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Nelson once worked as a telephone operator at the former Slater Mills, now Cranston Print Works Company. She was a homemaker, and a member of Saint Louis Church.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 18, at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family suggests donations be made to Hubbard Regional Hospital, 340 Thompson Road, Webster, MA 01570.
