Kenneth Guzowski, 46, of Manchester, NH, died Saturday August 11, 2012 in Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA, after losing his battle with cancer. He was born in Derry, NH on April 4, 1966, a son of Helen (Babcock) Guzowski and the late Edward Guzowski. He had been a resident of Manchester for the past eight years, formerly living in Derry. Ken was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1985 in Derry. He was employed as a bus driver for Boston Express in Londonderry. Ken was an avid Manchester Monarchs fan and held season tickets. He loved spending time at the beach and ocean and spending time with his dogs Sierra, Scout and Noel.
In addition to his mother of Manchester; he is survived by his partner, Steve Botana of Manchester; two sisters, Debra Plourde of Manchester, and June Chasse and her husband John of Ormond Beach, FL; one brother, Ed Guzowski of Londonderry, NH; four nephews, Tom Makepeace, Jake Gagnon, Joshua Chasse, and Jim Guzowski; and two nieces, Karlee Guzowski, and Noudeng Dara; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, August 15th from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial was held in the Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry.
