Arthur G. Laurin, 76, of Atkinson, NH, died Friday August 10, 2012 in The Oxford in Haverhill, MA. He was born in Lowell, MA on January 7, 1936, a son of the late Arthur E. and Rose (Verville) Laurin. He had been a resident of Atkinson for twelve years, formerly living in Derry, NH for 41 years. Mr. Laurin had worked for Lorden's Lumber in Milford, NH, True - Noyes Lumber in Derry and Fuer Lumber in Atkinson, NH.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Lorraine (Bibeault) Laurin of Atkinson; two sisters, Rose Marie Martin of Pelham, NH, and Frances Lethiecq of Port Charlotte, FL; two brothers, Roger Laurin of Dracut, MA, and Donald Laurin of Sanford, NC; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at 10:00am in Holy Angels Church, 8 Atkinson Depot Rd., Plaistow, NH. The burial followed in Holy Angels Cemetery in Plaistow.
