Erik Jon Nelson, 43, of Worcester died Friday, August 3rd. He leaves a daughter, Olivia M. Nelson of Dudley; his mother, Anne Marie (Mogelesky) Nelson of Worcester; his maternal grandmother, Margaret (Marcinov) Mogelesky of Hawley, PA and a sister, Katrina A. Lacher and her husband David of Edmond, OK. He was predeceased by an infant son, Noah Nelson.
He was born in Chapel Hill, NC, the son of the late Donald J. Nelson. Mr. Nelson was a master auto body technician for many years.
His memorial Mass is Wednesday, August 15th at 3:00 PM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
