Joseph John Muccio, 78 of Chelsea, formerly of Medford died Friday after a long illness in the Quigley Memorial Hospital SNF Chelsea, MA.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Salvatore and the late Lena (DiPietro) Muccio.
Joseph was a Truck Driver for Plasti Concrete of Concord for 21 years and a member of Local 379. He also was a late U.S. Army vetern of WW II and served from 1944 to 1945.
Devoted father of Diane Langone of Chelsea. Loving grandfather of Mark Sujko and loving great grandfather of Briana Sujko. Brother of the late Frank, John, Sal, Angelo, and Biagio Muccio.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18 at 10:00 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
