Obituary

Laurice Haddad, 73, of Derry died Wednesday August 8, 2012 at her residence in Derry after a lengthy illness. She was born November 21, 1938 in Kfardebian, Lebanon, and was a daughter of the late Elias and Manolia (Salame) Salame. She was raised and educated in Lebanon, moving to the United States in 1969. Laurice had been a resident of Derry for the past 15 years, and had previously resided in Quincy, MA for many years.
Mrs. Haddad was employed for many years as an electronics tester with Raytheon Corporation; she enjoyed history and watching television. She was also a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church of Derry.
Family members include, a daughter and her husband Toni and Cliff Scully, of Jefferson City, MO., three grandchildren, Emily, Mikayla and William Scully, her longtime partner Roger Lemieux of Derry, two brothers, Maurice Salame, of Sydney, Australia and Albert Salame, of Lebanon, two sisters, Emily Salame-Ghaleb and Nouhad Salame-Hajjar, both of Lebanon, as well as many friends. Mrs. Haddad was predeceased by her husband, Noel Haddad in 1997.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday August 14, 2012 from 4 to 8pm, at the Peabody Funeral Homes and crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road Londonderry, NH, and a Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at 11am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 27 Crystal Avenue Derry.
