Margaret Ann Lucas Fetch
Mrs. Margaret Ann Lucas Fetch was born on September 3, 1935 in Peoria, Illinois, to the late Lee Lucas and Nora Grigsby Lucas. She passed away on August 9, 2012.
Margaret was married to William “Bill” Harold Fetch, who preceded her in death. They had one daughter together. Margaret retired after 38 years as a secretary at Caterpillar Tractor Company. After retirement, she lived for 17 years in Panama City Beach, Florida, where she made several good friends, and enjoyed her retirement immensely. Margaret loved to shop, go to lunch with girlfriends, and watch TV; but she was most passionate about her dachshunds which she considered as “grand-dogs.”
Mrs. Fetch is survived by her daughter: Dr. Deborah Ann Fetch of Clarksville, and her niece: Bev Willliams, Bev’s husband Larry, and their children, of Mt. Vernon IL. She was also survived by her grand-dogs Pudgy and Zoe.
A private memorial service was held at Alive Hospice on August 9. Mrs. Fetch was interred with her husband at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Hopkinsville, Kentucky at 12 pm on August 10, 2012, the Reverend, Father Thomas Langdon of the Protection of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church of America officiating.
