Lillian G. Atkinson, 76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Fitzgerald Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Rabbi Moshe Elbaz officiating.
Mrs. Atkinson was born June 7, 1927, in New York City, New York to the late Irwin and Frieda Kendal Gold. She moved to Fitzgerald in 1991 from Winter Haven, Florida, where she was a former supervisor for Sears Roebuck & Company in catalog sales. She was of the Jewish faith and a former resident of Miami Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Fred and Patricia Atkinson, Winter Haven, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard M. Atkinson.
