Raymond J. Field, 85, of Little Compton, formerly of Westport died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Heatherwood Nursing Home in Newport. He was husband of Eva M. (Borges) Field.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph S. and Luella (Wilbur) Field, he had lived in Westport for many years prior to moving to Little Compton. Mr. Field was a self-employed lobsterman and he also enjoyed fishing.
Including his wife, he is survived by a sister: Dorothy Dennis of Tiverton. He was brother of the late Albert and Donald Field.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Potter Funeral Home from 9:30 – 11:30 A.M.
Graveside service will be held on Monday following the visitation at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 12:00 P.M.
