Martha C. “Marty” (Cutts) Keen, 74, of Franklin, died suddenly, yet peacefully at her home on Tuesday August 7, 2012. She was the wife of James O. Keen.
Born in Boston, May 25, 1938 a daughter of the late Frank K. and Muriel B. (Chipman) Cutts, she was raised and educated in the Roslindale section of Boston. She was a graduate of Roslindale High School, and attended the New England Conservatory of Music. She was a teacher for many years for the Holliston Middle School.
She was devoted to her grandchildren, and was a member of the Franklin Alden Club, the Franklin Republican Town Committee, and enjoyed music, and trips to Disney World.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Scott E. Ariel and his partner Andrew Jeon of Miami Beach, FL, 2 daughters, Tracey L. Cooper and her husband William of Sagamore Beach, and Susan C. Socci and her husband David of Franklin. A cousin Caroline Bradbury of Millis, 4 grandchildren, Julia, Jared, Shaina &Leah, and her beloved dog “Boomer”.
Her funeral services and interment are private.
