New Bedford - Pauline (Correia) Laporte, 79, of New Bedford passed away August 6, 2012 at New Bedford Health Care Center. She was the widow of O. Roger Laporte.
Mrs. Laporte was born in Dartmouth, daughter of the late Albert M. and Helen (Brown) Correia, and resided in New Bedford most of her life. She was employed for many years as a stitcher by Cameo Curtains.
Survivors include her daughter: Helen Gifford of Debary, FL; a sister: Lillian Souto and her husband Gil of New Bedford; a brother: Albert Correia and his wife Lorraine of New Bedford; a granddaughter: Paige Gifford of Debary, FL; and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Friday, August 10, 2012, 5:00-7:30 P.M. followed immediately by funeral services at 7:30 P.M.
