PICKETT, THOMAS J., 84, passed away August 5, 2012.
He was born to Felix and Vivian Pickett on May 16, 1928 in Adair County, KY. He was a retired oiler from American Tobacco and a supervisor from William Food Service. Thomas was a Christian by faith.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
He will be forever loved and missed by his son, Thomas L. Pickett (Debra); daughters, Rhonda Powell (Terry) and Rita Carter (Tony). He was "PA" to five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Survivors also include one brother and two sisters.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
