Devoted father of Joseph A. Tosney and his wife Teresa of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Virginia T. Trask and her husband Dale of Swampscott, Eileen T. Mills and her husband Walter of Walpole, Joan C. Ayotte and her husband Gary of Newburyport, John K. Tosney of Newton, James W. Tosney and his wife Ericka Stewart of Los Angeles, CA, Elizabeth T. Sierra and her husband Raymond of Tampa, FL. Grandfather of Rachel, Connor, Gillian, Brendon, Timothy, Lindsey, Gavin, Ronan, Dylan, Rian, and the late Joseph. Great-grandfather of Fiona. Brother of Eileen M. Tosney of North Andover and the late James J. Tosney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a World War II US Army Air Corps Veteran and served in the Pacific Theatre. Graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School.
