Ellen I. (Walsh) Gregory, 86, of Salem, NH died Fri. August 3rd at Mary Immaculate Health Care Services in Lawrence, MA.
Ellen was born and educated in New York, the daughter of the late Dora (Berktold) and J. Edward Walsh. She had worked as an accounts payable clerk at Bon Secour Hospital in Methuen, MA. Ellen enjoyed bridge, cooking, knitting and crocheting. She and her husband traveled the world. Ellen was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church. She enjoyed her bridge club at the Salem Senior Center and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ellen was predeceased by her husband Robert H. Gregory.
She is survived by her 3 sons Richard Gregory and his wife Susan of Salem, NH,
Michael Gregory and Nancy Anderson of Bend, OR
James Gregory and his wife Robin of New York City, NY
Sister: Genevieve Johnson of Oden, PA
4 Grandchildren: Melissa Flahive, Stacey Castillo, Jenna Gregory and Rachel Gregory
3 Great Grandchildren: Tyler Webster, Kaylie Castillo and Brayden Castillo
several nieces and nephews
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, August 11th from 10 -11:30AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will follow at Mary Queen of Peace Church at 12 Noon.
