Robert Parker, age 75, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Jackson Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born April 12, 1937 in Calhoun City, MS to the late Berl Dan and Euvie Cozart Parker. Robert served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Prescott, Maine. He was employed by the MS Law Enforcement Association as a phone solicitor for fund raising events and he loved spending time with his nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sylva Rena Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 11:00 AM at Sylva Rena Cemetery with Bro. Raymond Aven officiating.
Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Faye Stribling of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Sandra Wagner (Michael) and Anita Parker both of Florence, MS; two sons, Joseph Parker and Robert Paul Parker both of Richland, MS; nine grandchildren and fourteen grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Parker and Gene Parker.
