Larry L. Gordon , 62 of Seale, Alabama, formerly of Fitzgerald, died Friday, August 3rd, 2012 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday August 6, 2012, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Harris Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Sunday at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Gordon was born Nov. 18, 1949, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Peggy Peacock Hulett of Fitzgerald and the late Elvin L. Gordon. He was a 1969 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended Ben Hill-Irwin Technical College for machinist training. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War.. Mr. Gordon was a machinist and welder having worked with Fitzgerald RailCar , Modern Fibers , Industrial Plastics, Rainbow and Pitts Trailers. For the past ten years he had lived in Seale, Alabama
In addition to his mother he is survived by 2 brothers and sisters in law, Michael and Jackie Gordon of Abbeville, Ga. and Richard Kelly and Cathy Gordon of Pittsview, Al. along with many nieces and nephews.
