Jerry William Hackney, age 65 of Clarksville, TN, died on Friday, August 3, 2012.
He was born on April 29, 1947 in Daytona Beach, FL to Otis William Hackney and the late Effie Louise Hackney. He is preceded in death by his mother, Effie Louise Hackney and children, Heather Hackney and Hunter Hackney.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10 a.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, with Father Mickey Richaud and The Rev. Dorothy Hartzog officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 3-7 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Jerry was a graduate of Austin Peay State University and member of Alpha Tau Omega. He was Vice President of sales at Elite Financial Products in Clarksville, TN. He was a faithful and loving member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Fessey Marshall Hackney; father, Otis William Hackney (Karol); children, Johnny Masters (Kim), Elizabeth Masters Webster and Lauren Taylor Williams (Steven); sister, Judy Hackney Tucker (husband, P.C.); grandchildren, Faith Hackney, Amber Webster, Monica Webster, Eric Webster, Ericka Webster, Sam Masters, Isaac Masters, Taylor Williams, and Nate Williams; and one great-grandson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.
