Betty Joann Rhea, age 75 of Clarksville, TN, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 2 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Betty was born December 19, 1936 in Portsmouth, OH, daughter of the late Ralph Coleman and Agnus Trailer Coleman Stone.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John Rhea; two sons, Randy Rhea (Ashmin) and Michael Rhea (Shaunna), both of Clarksville; two daughters, Wendi Rhea-Pounds (Larry), Gilbertsville, KY and Robin Sweet Robinson (Brian), Washington State; two sisters, Hannah Cox and Alice Hall, both of Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Betty was a member of American Legion Auxillary Post #233 for more than 35 years and had served as President multiple times.
