Obituary

Mrs. Helen B. (Bannon) Renaud, of Taunton, died Monday, July 30 in the Oakhill – Golden Living Center, Middleboro following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Renaud. She was born 86 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Timothy and Marie (Tremblay) Bannon. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as an assembler for Texas Instruments, Attleboro for 15 years. She was previously employed at Reed and Barton Silversmiths in Taunton for 10 years, and was formerly employed at both Eureka Manufacturing and Sheffield Silver Co. in Norton for a number of years. Helen enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 daughter: Diane Soares and her husband, Alfred of East Taunton; 1 son-in-law: Henry T. Proulx, Jr. of Taunton; 1 sister: Lillian Bannon of Taunton; 4 grandchildren: Jeffrey and Mark Soares, and Rosemarie and Edward Proulx; 1 great granddaughter: Addysen Soares, and several nieces and nephews. Helen was also the mother of the late Andrea Proulx, and the sister of the late Norman Bannon and Norma Bannon.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, August 2 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
