Obituary

WEBSTER: Robert E. Russell, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the young age of 56, after a brief illness.
We are celebrating the life of a man who made people laugh and was generous of self to those he felt closest to. He was a man who lead a simple life and who enjoyed relaxing, taking trips to Cape Cod, Hampton Beach and New York City, and reading his favorite newspaper (The Worcester Telegram) front to back. Bob experienced many struggles throughout his life that are now calmed and all who love him should seek solace and comfort knowing that he is now at peace. He will forever remain loved and in the hearts of those closest to him.
Bob was born in Bangor, ME, son of Albert and Madelyn (Sidelinger) Russell, and was raised in Worcester. He resided all of his life in the Webster-Dudley-Southbridge area. He was a graduate of North High School, Worcester. Bob was a truck driver for several companies during his life, the latest being Fresenius Medical Care.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Jr., Steven, and Albert Russell; twin sister, Roberta A. Murphy; brother, Michael J. Russell; grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, and Joshua Russell; nephews, Sean P. Murphy and Ryan C. Murphy; grandnephew, Liam R. Murphy; and foster father, Robert E. Wardell.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE celebrating Bob's life will be held at 6:30 P.M. on THURSDAY, AUG. 2 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln Street in Worcester.
