Bobbie S. Alligood
Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, July 29, 2012, Mrs. Bobbie S. Alligood, 76, wife of Rev. Maurice H. Alligood.
Mrs. Alligood was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of Augusta Junior College. She retired after 28 years as an Administrative Assistant in medical technology at MCG and Georgia State University. Mrs. Alligood was a member of Pine View Baptist Church. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: Tracy Dewitt Bridgers; daughters: Kelly Bridgers Powell, Melanie H. Kite, Elaine H. Lawrence, Robin Alligood; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Pine View Baptist Church with Rev. Maurice H. Alligood and Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the Pastors from the Aiken Baptist Association.
