Marcus Bryant Webb, Sr., 78, of Tifton died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with burial to follow. Paul Webb, Bill Webb, Mallie Webb, Gene Webb, Gilbert Webb, Lloyd Webb, John Webb and David Webb will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Webb was born on March 11, 1934 in Tift County and was the son of Mallie B. Webb and Eliza Jones Webb, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one son, Marcus Bryant Webb, Jr. and two grandsons, Shane Webb and Josh Webb. He was a retired farmer and a member of Omega Methodist Church.
Mr. Webb is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Donna Webb of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Bobby Kitchens of Tifton; two brothers, Hugh Webb and Bobby Webb, both of Tifton; one sister, Ruth Willett of Moultrie; three granddaughters; two grandsons; and 11 great-grandchildren.
