Jesse M. Voutour, Sr.,86, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
His wife of 38 years, Theresa C. ‘Terry’ (Deslauriers) Voutour died in 2010.
Jesse leaves sons; Jeff and Jay Voutour of Webster and Jesse S. Voutour of Hillsboro, North Carolina, daughters; Dawn wife of Ian Christy of Rutland, Judy wife of Nick Rana of Davenport, FLA., and a step daughter; Louise Chadbourne of Dudley, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy and a brother Edward.
Jesse was born in Newton, New Hampshire and lived in Webster most of his life.
He was a WWII Navy veteran,. He earned an Associate Degree from Nichols College, and while he was there , was a member of the lacrosse and football teams. He worked for the Wyman-Gordon Co. in Grafton for 40 years, and retired from there many years ago. He was also on the baseball team at Wyman-Gordon.
Jesse enjoyed sports, he followed the Red Sox, was a former player for the Jack Benny league and enjoyed landscaping and cooking.
Calling Hours for Jesse will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 6PM to 8 PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel,366 School St.
