LAWSON, Eleanor (Sworin) 87 years of age, Resident of Peabody, formerly of Revere, Winthrop and Chelsea died Thursday, July 26th, 2012. Born in Chelsea, MA. Educated and graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1943. Eleanor was a member of the Jewish Women Intl., Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Auxiliary, and Temple B’Nai Israel of Beachmont. Beloved wife of Martin Lawson. Devoted mother of Bette Bissonnette and husband Tom, Bruce Lawson and wife Jane and Ronald Lawson and wife Susan. Loving daughter of the late Barney Sworin and Ida (Rosen). Dear sister of Belle Cohen and the late Rose Aronson. Loving grandmother of Adam, Alexander and Dvorah. Graveside services will be held at Mishna Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett MA on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 11AM. Donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to the Woodbridge Assistant Living, 240 Lynnfield Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
